Free Kinder

To relieve pressure on household budgets, we’re going to make kinder for three- and four-year old’s free – saving parents up to $2500.

We’re going to build 50 government-owned and operated childcare centres in places that really need them, with extended hours.

And we’re going to transition four-year-old-kinder to a new, free, 30 hour play based learning year of ‘Pre-Prep’ to give every child the best start in life, and get them ready for school. Find out more:

Victorian Veterans Card

Our current serving and ex-serving veterans have made an enormous contribution to our state, and our nation. That’s why the Andrews Labor Government is delivering on its election promise to deliver the Veterans Card.

Veterans will now be able to register for the Victorian Veterans Card which offers the following benefits:

  • A $100 discount for one vehicle registration each year. 
  • Free Public Transport on Anzac Day and Remembrance Day.  
  • Access to Veterans Employment Programs run by the Victorian Government.  
  • Free trailer and caravan registration.
  • A free annual fishing licence.
  • Free boating licenses, for a 5-year licence.

Smile Squad is a Victorian Government program that offers free dental care to all Victorian government school students.


The friendly Smile Squad dental team visits schools to provide annual oral health packs, dental health examinations and follow-up treatment as needed.


With cost of living rising, Smile Squad provides some relief to families, and gives piece of mind to know children are getting the dental care they need.
